Project ASK is the FBLA-PBL State Service Project. ASK, Association for the Support of Children with Cancer, is a non-profit association of parents, health professionals, and concerned citizens throughout Virginia. FBLA-PBL’s support of Project ASK allows the organization to conduct diagnostic research, fund the position for a patient counselor/chaplain, and serve as a support group for families of children with cancer. Ways to Be Involved:
ASK Day: Statewide ASK Day will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. This would be a great time to provide your local chapters and community with information regarding ASK, hosting or having guest speakers, volunteering at the MCV clinc or the afterschool program in Glen Allen, and other relating activities.
Gift Cards: Our region will make a regional donation of gift cards. The Capital Region will collect gift cards for the following Retailers: Wawa, Barnes and Noble, Michales, Wawa, and Sheetz. Please bring all gift cards to the Fall Leadership Conference. Gift cards are strictly work toward your region and not count towards Gold Chapter.
ASK HERO: ASK Hero can be obtained by each local chapter donating at least $100 to ProjectASK. You will receive an ASK HERO Ribbon at SLC
